Major Incidents.
Minor Stress.

Workshop (online)
September 17th 2026 from 10 AM to 12 AM

What can you expect?

Major incidents can disrupt business activities, threaten service continuity, and shake stakeholder confidence —often within minutes.

In this workshop, we’ll explore why these situations create such intense pressure for IT teams, and how a structured response can restore control when it matters most, using Xurrent’s Incident & Major Incident Response (IMR) as a practical example.

You’ll leave with a practical framework for running major incidents with less stress, more control and a live demo of how Xurrent IMR puts it into practice.

Speakers: Joost Van Iersel (2Grips) and Sumit De (Xurrent)

Live demo: Major Incident Response in Xurrent

We’ll show how a coordinated approach turns chaos into a clear sequence of action:

  • escalation paths that get the right people involved immediately
  • communication that keeps stakeholders informed without pulling responders off the incident
  • a resolution process that closes the loop cleanly once service is restored.

By the end of the session, you will understand the principles of effective Major Incident Management, and see how they can be applied in practice with Xurrent IMR.

An interactive workshop – your question matters!

This is not a one-way session.

When registering, we ask you to submit at least one question related to Incident Management or Xurrent IMR.
> Your question is your “entry ticket”.

We’ll address these questions during the workshop, ensuring the session is directly relevant to your needs.

Have more questions? Feel free to share them in advance.
