Discover the latest about the higher levels of ITIL4
As promised, Axelos will soon start rolling out the higher levels of ITIL 4. After the launch of ITIL 4 in February, many ITIL certificate holders stayed on the sidelines. The ITIL 4 Foundation only focuses on people without ITIL certification or with only the foundation v3 certificate. ITIL Experts or those who were already more advanced in the ITIL certification scheme could not really get started with ITIL 4. Axelos now announces the long awaited ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition Module.
Mark the date in your agenda: October 3, 2019
At this day the Transition Module and the corresponding exam will be available. The highly anticipated ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition module will be the logical next step for ITIL v3 accredited professionals wishing to transition to ITIL 4. All ITIL Experts or those who have already 17 credits in ITIL v3 can make this “bridge” to ITIL Managing Professional.
Later, in November, the “ITIL 4 Specialist: Create, Deliver and Support” and “ITIL 4 Strategist: Direct, Plan and Improve” will be launched. Finally, the “ITIL 4 Specialist: Drive Stakeholder Value” and “ITIL 4 Specialist: High Velocity IT” are expected in Q1 2020.
ITIL 4 Managing Professional transition module
The Managing Professional transition module is designed to allow ITIL v3 candidates who have already invested to easily transition across to ITIL 4. They can gain the designation of Managing Professional via one course and one exam.
The transition module enables candidates to recognise their previous achievements while still gaining the up-to-date skills and knowledge needed to navigate the digital service economy.
The module will provide information on the key elements of the following modules from ITIL 4 Managing Professional:
• ITIL 4 Specialist Create, Deliver and Support
• ITIL 4 Specialist Drive Stakeholder Value
• ITIL 4 Specialist High Velocity IT
• ITIL 4 Strategist Direct Plan and Improve
The course will also provide an introduction and cover the key concepts found in ITIL 4 Foundation.
To take the transition module, all candidates must be at Expert level or have a minimum of 17 v3 credits. It is therefore aimed at candidates who have a strong knowledge of ITIL v3.
