Service Management Tooling Specialist

2Grips, Service Management specialist, is growing and currently looking for new colleagues. For our office in the Netherlands we are looking for an implementation consultant for Service Management tooling, preferably with knowledge of Ivanti Service Manager or one of our other ITSM and ESM tools 4me, BMC Helix Remedyforce and Freshservice.

Within the role of Service Management Tooling Specialist, you are responsible for:
  • Carrying out software implementations at our clients in a small project team
  • Providing support on this software
  • Setting up automation and integrations between applications
  • Maintaining the knowledge base of the applications

Specifically it concerns the implementation and support of four service management solutions in which our organization specializes, namely 4me Service Management, Ivanti Service Manager & Automation, Freshservice and BMC RemedyForce. All these solutions are modern cloud applications that offer wonderful opportunities to help their users do their work better and more efficiently. If of course implemented correctly.

As a tooling specialist your work is rather technical, but at the same time it’s not about software development, but rather about the configuration and setup of the applications we deliver. The jack-of-all-trades we are looking for is therefore someone who is capable of converting a functional need into a technical solution. Most of the work is carried out remotely and even from your home office; during the current COVID-19 pandemic, we even manage to do everything remotely. We make use of all the modern means available to everyone today and we expect our new colleague to be able to deal with that as well.

The ideal Service Management Tooling Specialist fits the following characteristics:
  • enthusiastic, pragmatic, eager to learn, customer-oriented and social
  • interested in technology and has experience with software implementations
  • Can translate a functional need into a technical solution
  • Has knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS and Powershell
  • Has knowledge of ITIL and/or SIAM

The main language within 2Grips is Dutch. However, it is most important that you are able to speak and write in English. Our company has offices in Belgium and the Netherlands. This is a job opportunity for our office in the Netherlands.
