The route to VeriSM certification

The VeriSM Foundation certification builds the fundamental skills and knowledge enabling individuals to participate in a service organization. Depending on your situation and needs, there are different ways to obtain VeriSM certification. The Foundation level can be offered in its entirety, but it has also been split up into two parts. For those who already have a Service Management certification, there is a bridging certificate.

VeriSM Essentials

VeriSM Essentials acts as an introduction to the Service Management mindset and focuses on the basic service management principles. It looks at service organization, service culture, the organizational structure and the VeriSM model. It is ideal for professionals who are encountering Service Management for the first time and for candidates who would prefer to complete the VeriSM Foundation certification in two parts (Essentials and Plus).

VeriSM Plus

VeriSM Plus is the second part of the VeriSM Foundation course and focuses on the progressive practices and how these relate to service management. It has been created to offer professionals with a background in Service Management the opportunity to bridge into VeriSM Foundation and to attain the full VeriSM Foundation certification. It is ideal for professionals who already have a Service Management Foundation certification and for candidates who would prefer to complete the VeriSM Foundation certification in two parts (Essentials and Plus).

VeriSM Foundation is designed to provide you a clear understanding of services and service management and the VeriSM model and explain how an organization can incorporate many different management practices to support the delivery of services. It is ideal for or both IT and non-IT professionals who need to understand a service culture and the impact of evolving management practices and new technologies and who want to bring their skills up to date.
